Need some help real quick...

Whats up guys, my friends and I are swapping some springs on his car and everything has gone smoothly except for the rear calipers. We had to take them off now the bastards have closed a bit and we cant get them back on the rotors. We've tried prying them and hammering them but to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions? I know Stangnet can help us out. Thanks.

You need to twist them back in. You can ge tthe tool from the auto parts store or use needle nose pliers.

Ok well those geniuses just applied the brakes and now theyre locked together, anything we can do besides taking them apart?

You can get a srewdiver in b/t the inspection port and pry them a little to get them off. The pistons have to twisted in flush once you get them off.

Uhm yeah ......
That's a given and I was assuming they were doing that but if you are are not.
Urban makes a good point and loosen up the bleeder screw a little when you are closing the calipers. It will make it A LOT easier.

Ok so take the cap off and loosen the bleeder screw a little bit but not enough to make fluid come out. Sorry were all rookies when it comes to brakes.

Did I took the cap off and he loosened the bleeder valve until a little dribble of fluid came out then tightened it back up a little bit so it stopped. Pistons still arent budging though.

Well we finally got them to go in. Had to screw them back into the caliper. Talk about a pain in the ass. I dont think I've ever cursed so much in my life haha. His car looks good though. Thanks for the replies.
