oil pans and pickups

Is there a company that sells New/NOS/re-prod front sump oil pans for the pinto/mustangII? I also need a oil pump pickup/sump.

Oil Pan

Milodon makes a oil pan Part # 697-30925 SB Ford pre 74 Chassis front sump.
7 1/2 qt. it works really good but you will need to buy a mini starter...

If you find an original front sump pan, make sure you know the year it came off of.

I know that in 77' ford used 2 different starters because the 4.5" housing doesn't fit so you have to buy the 4" housing starter.

I'm assuming that the reason for that was because the pan was changed.

I know that the 4.5" starter hits the pan and will not fit the early 77'.

I don't know if thats the reason they changed starters but to me, thats can be the only reason.

If anyone know better please correct me.........I would like to know if what I'm saying is correct...

my Bad, sorry...

I should have mentioned 1st, I'm rebuilding a 2.3L and will be insalling in a '74 MII...I need a stock pan and pickup as my engine is out of an '87 T-bird TurboCoupe.
