oil pump sahft

i have a msd dist. out of a 351windsor does anyone amke an oil pump shaft that is 5/16 at one end and 1/4 at the other so this will go into a 302 if so where to buy just want to find out before i get a new dist shaft from msd

I don't think that you will get the shaft of the distributor seated down in the block of a 302. The pump shaft and the distributor shaft of the 351 are both larger diameters probably for a reason. Is the corresponding hole which receives the distributor shaft the same diameter in a 351 and a 302? Not sure bout that one. I wouldn't think so though.

here ya go this might help.
and i doubt anyone makes such a product but you could get a 5/16 shaft and have someone machine it down to fit the 302 oil pump.
