Hey guys i recently put in an eagle crank in my ~304 small block and when loning up the oil pump and pickup tube i notice the pump is making contact with the crank. How would i fix this? I know there is a gasket to put to the block and pump but i dont think its thick enough to clear the crank?

Hmm. It shouldn't have a clearance issue. Have any pictures. I've had to clearance oil pumps for main girdles, but never a crank shaft.

Ill have to take pictures later or tomorrow When i try to play with it again. I didnt use the gasket while lining it up but I'm sure the gasket wont push it up high enough anyways
Everything in the bottom end is supposed to have 1/4" clearance anyway. The gasket is not even close that thick.
