Welds are soooo GAY! They look like crap. Buying them for the track is one thing, but I hate people who buy those and leave them on all the time. Very Redneck and overdone!

well I think he was doing 1.9-2.0 60fts.. the tires were brand new and his s/c belt was slipping. I'm going to put them on my car with the new rearend and I'll report back with pics and times next weekend lol. I'm not expecting anything lower than a 1.9.. which is why I want slicks, he says those DR's hook like CRAZY though, so I'll give them a shot

I have 295 Weld Pro-Stars on my car with skinnies and i love em. I personally believe they look redneck on particular cars, not ours however. Maybe if your driving a bowtie mid 80s camaro or firebird it would be white trashy. On a modular 99+ GT i think not.
