popping sound???

my car had powersteering but i took the pump off... now when i make sharp turns there is a popping sound that comes from the left side of the car... it sounds like a hollow peice of plastic draging the ground... i cant see whats wrong with it... all i could think of is taking the pump off is hurting it somehow. any help??

Could be your bushings, are they the stock rubber ones?

i think it could be your ball joint, does the front end shake when rolling. is the inside of the tire wearing faster

gonna have to get under and check it out. any of the things mentioned could be at fault.

also could be a tire rubbing the fender liner.
