hey guy. i now own (Paid for) my 98 gt vert. with 76K miles. It is just too slow. i was considering trading it for a mach or cobra but thats pretty expensive.

So here my question. i want more power. Should i do a PI and intake swap and then add supercharger or just put a slightly used gt motor in then supercharge it. Which is cheaper. my current motor is still strong and all my cyl have upper 140s compression.

Also if i swap to a 99-03 gt motor will i have to change from my t45 right away or can a wait until i get my supercharger?

Thanks

Chris

if you plan to supercharge and not forge the engine, get a complete 99-00 GT engine. it will have 9.0:1 compression whereas if you do the headswap, you will have 10.5:1 compression. less compression is better for forced induction.

dont know why that skipped my mind but duh. that make soo much sense. will i have to do much wire harness and adaptint to go 99-03 or will it pretty much be put her in and plug her up.

any help in the tranny area will be appreciated.

also i am not new to swaps. i have swaped a 5.0 carb into my 86 ranger.
