This is a 2006 GT convertible we bought in California about three weeks ago and drove back to our home in Maine. It had only 18,000 miles on it (23k now!) and has been in the same family since new. Which means it's a real puff. We put almost 4000 miles on it in eight days bringing it home. I had a 2007 V6 before this one and the difference between the 6 and the V8 is like night and day. And we happen to love the rare color, too ("Legend Lime Metallic"). The pic is in Glacier National Park in Montana.
Does anyone know this car? I bought it as you see it about 18months ago. I am trying to get back on the street now and was wondering if there was ever a tune done on the car. I have added long tube headers and changed the cold air intake design a little, new iridium plugs, New coils and new fuel pump. I am going to re tune it to see it helps, wandering was there ever a tune done to it.
I also have a question for the group. I have then engine running but I don't seem to have enough adjustment left in the cable on the stock unit. BUT here is the issue I have, the clutch will go in enough to crank the car in gear without moving, but it won't shift out the gear you start it in. When I first cranked the car I could shift but after a few pull to check throttle response the clutch is disappearing. Just throwing in a couple of the build pix for your enjoyment.
