pulling a trans

If everything is removed that should be, you may just need to use a pry bar a little. Once the trans is off the dowels it should be loose then you have the fun of twisting and turning the thing to get it out. My suggestion is once you have the trans out of the car, cut off the right ear on the trans. Its pointless because no wiring harness goes on that side and about all it does is make install and removal harder.

everything was off shaft, crossmember ,sensors, x-pipe, starter, shifter i only got it about 3/4" open, (")this means inches by the way. any ways i got a come along and some wedges hooked the 3/4 comealong up to the axle the the back of the trans and cranked on that mofo it still wouldnt budge :( anyways we've pulled a t5 out off a 5.0 but this t45 was hell. we finally gave up and i am planning to take it to my uncles shop tommorrow. he's got a lift and maybe a bigger hammer :(
