Throttle linkage question

I am finally getting my stuff back together. But my question is i changed to carb set up what kind of throttle cable will i need.

Also this might sound stupid, but for the gas tank, because you have to change it so its down to like 8psi or something. I seen some things that look like a intank fuel pump without the pump on it, couldn't i just take the pump off the one in my tank and use those lines. Its the same thing isn't it.

An '85 GT throttle cable (or something comparable) should do the trick.

i have heard that before but i wasn't going to get it without checking first.
