TKO 500 - Shifter Handles

My Stock shifter handle just came loose, I was wondering if anybody else is using another handle on the hurst shifter that came with the transmission. If so, where should I buy it? Would prefer a steel peice over Alum... And what about those shifter bushings for the 500? Worth the whole $10? Will that work with aftermarket Handles? I like the shifter, just want to change the handle! Any advice would be appreciated!
