Hello Guys. I've installed many auto tranmissions. Never had the trouble I'm having intalling this one! I don't think I have the torque converter far enough into the transmission. I've had the trans upside down and it won't go any further. Does anyone know the distance between the face of the torque converter, at the bottom of the stud, to the face of the bell housing? All I can get is 1". I measured the distance from the flywheel to the back of the engine and got 1 1/2". I need for the torque converter to go back 1/2" back. Will it?
