I have a 1987 mustang with a t5 in it. The car is a street strip car and I noticed the other day while going down the highway that I am getting a decent amount of vibration through my drivetrain when I have the clutch released but goes away once I push it in. This happens more at speeds above 20mph and I dont notice it a whole lot below 20mph. Any ideas on what could be causing the issue? Im thinking input bearing maybe but not too sure.

I just dealt with a similar issue. It was a speed related vibration, came on over 25 mph. Clutch in or out didn't matter. For me it was my driveshaft. If you have access to another one (friends car who you can borrow shaft etc.) its an easy swap to see if it goes away. If it is the shaft there are options to correct it or replace it.
