well.. the t-5 in my '86 just ate ****.
and the t-5 in my '90 lx is just perfect. but after this h(p/p)/c/i rebuild i dont think its going to hold up very long if i start going to the track like i planned.
so, if i put the working t-5 in my stock '86..
and buy a tremec for my project soon daily driver.
how would it be?
i remember somebody.. maybe it was ecu50? saying it didnt shift very smoothly. or something like that..
and i do plan to supercharge it someday, or spray it. and id like a transmission i can count on.
what do you all think of the stock tremecs?
or that gforce one.. where the company modifies tremecs straight from the crate. i forget the website.
ps. i dont know how id pay for a tremec though. but ill figure something out.
