if you are N/A the best would be 4.30s with 4:10s in a close second
Most people with power adders run a 3.73 gear even though I have seen a few run 4.10s
hotrodnut said:That is a good question and depends on a lot of factors, like what mods have you done, cam change, heads, what does the engine rev, when does it stop pulling, what transmission ratios do you have, what height rear tires are you running, etc. Most will say if you are close to stock, maybe exhaust, intake, tuner then 4.30's or 4.10's depending on your tire height and rpm limit. If you could get an idea of how many rpm's you need to be turning at the finish line then gear towards that. Ideally you want to be using all your useable power from the engine as close to the finish line as possible.

higher gear ratios help, if you know how to drive. Traction on street tires is all about finessecrazynorwegian said:higher gear ratio's wont help you much if you dont have good tires to get the torque to the ground.
