RodStang said:Yup. Using a 91+ when the car does not require it is like wasting a cruise missile to kill Osama Bin Laden when you have an opportunity to shoot him in the head with a 9mm.

The LS1, LS6, LS2, supercharged 4.6L, and DOHC 4.6L are all tuned for 91 octane
The Hemi V8 is tuned to run on 89 octane
The new 3 valve 4.6L in the 2005 Mustang GT is setup to run on 87octane gasoline. Running anything more than that is a waste of money. It is kind of like taking too many vitamins, your can body only use so much vitamin C, any extra you give it will just get pisssed out. Same goes for Octane, the extra gets unused and can actually decrease gas milage.

GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!Ardijani said:Hi to all,
My name is Ardijan and I am from Macedonia, Skopje (Europe). I intend to get one of this to beautiful horses. So...
Just for an information, we have here 92 (Regular), 95 (Super) and 98 (Premium) octane fuel.
As I know, as higher octane as better fuel and performance. We have new regulations that almost all cars that consumed regular to adjust their cars for consuming Super, and those with Super to Premium due to Ecology.
BY the way I need to know what is the consumption of MUSTANG - LITRES/per KILOMETRES ???
Thank you all.
