I have a 2003 Cobra, and I just bought an Auto Meter boost gauge. I have it wired up, but I'm confused as to where I should attach the nylon boost/vacuum tube. Most forums and websites say you should use a t-fitting and attach it to any vacuum line. However, the vacuum lines have rubber boots on them and are not threaded on the ends, so I'm not sure how exactly I should attach the t-fitting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I realize the t-fitting uses ferrules to keep the tubes firmly connected, but what I meant was the vacuum lines aren't just plain tubes, they've got big rubber "boots" on the end, so I don't know how to slide that into the t-fitting. Just thought I'd clarify, because it didn't make a lot of sense when I reread my post.
Thank you...
