Will 06 gt oem rims fit 00v6 stang?

Ive got a set of 06 oem torque thrust gt wheels on hold for me but i noticed
on ebay that fitment of these 05/06 17"rims on a 94-04 quotes as saying
will not correctly fit.The guy at the tire shop selling them to me says they will work.Who is correct?I want them BAD!!!!!because ive got old ugly nasty
15in wheels with dryrotted meats on it.I can get the 06 rims+new 245 45 17s
on them for 800 bucks!Please tell me they fit without rubbing or offset issues.
Thanx for help.....also i need to make the trip to pick them up today.

theyll fit, but the offset is a bit different.

Yup, the offset is different so they may not be set in the correct depth.

They will set furthur inside the wheelwells, but with wider meat they should look fine.

Its the older wheels on newer cars that look funky. They stick out to far and with a low profile tire they look like they belong on a 63 Impala with skinny whitewalls...
