ive been trying to find an 8.8 rearend for awhile now and i was calling around to the metro area yards today the only place that had one was foster auto parts they wanted 450$ w/o axles or brakes ive seen parts cars go for less. how much did you guys pay from your 8.8?

Cry me a river. Try to find a limited-slip 8" diff. Our center sections pop in and out with 12 bolts in about ten minutes, so you can literally change your rear gearing at the track: drive down on 2.79 and pop in a 4.11 to do your passes. B/c of this, they're in massive demand -- I've seen rebuilt ones "on sale" for $600 + shipping. I paid less for both my engines. :nice:
