I got this stuff from CJ Pony Parts at the car show yesterday. Picked up a new cowl grill, metal door handles, interior door latch covers, and the bottom plastic piece that is always broken on the arm rest. Overall the stuff wasnt that bad but Im still surprised at the lack of quality in any of these "resto" parts. Now I know why people with older mustangs make such a stink about OEM Ford Parts. There is no comparison.

Anyways on to some pics

The door handles initially seemed much nicer (since they are metal) but they stick out about a 1/4 of an inch further than the stock handles. Just the way they are made

Ill hang on to the original handles. These are fine for my car since its nothing nice but on a show car I would go with factory stuff

I also tightened the elastic on the map pockets of the drivers side. Looks much better than before imo

Hey man, you remember when you were leaving the show? a black lightning with silver stripes and billet grill was behind you for a few? That was me and my pop's lol glad you got some parts. I did as well, cowl hood for the 98

You could of just repainted the cowl grille part on your hood instead of buying a replacement....unless it was cracked or something.

I agree that's what I did with mine due to cost and quality of resto parts ! I pulled the cowl grille, Wiper arms , antenna, and antenna mount cover shot them all with a $6.00 can of paint bolt them back up good as new and Better then Resto ! Only resto parts I have bought and put on my 92 GT is a 6 piece headlight set . I have to agree the OEM Ford parts even on my lights is a better quality part but my budget said Buy Resto !

Its not hard you just have to drill out the rivets and pop new rivets in. Just be careful to protect your paint while drilling/riveting. You'll need a large rivet gun though, not the cheapo ones you can get from HD or Lowes. Mine was $50 and I had to order it. Its the same one I used for the rivets on the door lock actuators.
