So many have done it and now I want to. I have a set of 17" wheels off a 01GT that I can get for pretty cheap.
My question is what is the least expensive way (cheapest) to do this conversion. I was told that axles from a Ranger pick up would work? We have a set of axles from a 96 Ford Explorer. They are in great shape. Can these be used in the rear? Also what can I do for the front. Can I just replace the rotors or due I have to replace the spindles.
I am just seeing how enexpensive this can be done. I know if I convert to disc on the rear I need to replace the master cylinder. If I leave it as drums then I dont.
What can I expect to pay to do this going 4 wheel discs -vs- just changing rotors and axles??
If I do this im sure someone will help me out and buy my wheels from me.
