BS. The Giants dominated that game IMO. No fluke; they did the same thing to the Cowboys and Packers consecutively, who were both also easily in the top 5 in terms of offense. I was a believer after seeing what they did to the Pack.

i live in mass and live with my bro and dad that are crazy pats fans.....personally i think its great that the pats lost beacause i cant not stand them... I like Miami but who am i to talk.......Giants CLEARLY out played them...had more plays....and scored when they needed to....Giants deserve this more than any other team right now....... Pats r the only team i hate...... nice to see all the pats fans finally shut up....hahaha Red Sox will take home a championship in 08.....and # 17 for the Celtics would be sweet....

I don't like the giants, all i care about is that the patriots lost... Finally... Actually the chargers should have beat them 2 weeks ago but they choked hardcore in the redzone. In all reality there season should have been like 15-4 or something like that if teams hadn't choked. The ravens were 1 yard away from winning... but

how can you hate sports?

99% of the time they're extremely boring. Football and hockey are the only halfway acceptable ones, but I hate when the violence gets interupted by playing the game. I just feel I have better things to do with my time than sit around and watch grass grow on tv while a bunch of mentally challenged grown men in spandex chase a ball around. Now, the eating junk food and drinking beer with buddys part I can deal with. I'd just rather do it watching motorsports.

Haha I laugh because I don't like sports that do involve cars. Most sports I would much rather be playing than watching, but if it's an excuse to get me and my friends together to eat, drink and celebrate, then we do it.

Not sure why 90% of the internet complains, and moans or simply dislikes the Superbowl and everything attached to it. Do these people really live such sheltered lives that all they can do is complain about things that should be fun or entertainment?

It is a shame when some do not want the Patriots to win out of franchise envy. I keep up with the NFL quite well and I do believe the Patriots are a better overall team, but congrats to the Giants in a great game

I HATE the Patriots with a passion, but because of what they did to CT many years back. They dicked us around with hopes of building a stadium. Went through all the motions got everyone up in arms and supporting it, and in the end had absolutely NO intentions of moving, only to get the love for the team back from MA residents.

Needless to say the Patriots can suck it for all I care. And after what Belicheck did walking off before the end of the game, classless tool in my eyes. You man up and stay there until there is 00:00 on the clock, THEN you shake hands and walk off. Sore loser and coach of a worthless team...

I have been a Giants fan all my life, so maybe my opinion doesn't really matter. It seems like the crowd was on the Giants side. And from what I have read here and on other sports sites, I think fans in general were pulling for the Giants not out of envy of the Patriots, but because of their actions throughout the season (running up scores on other teams for no reason is one example). I am a Yankees fan, but I know how everybody else hates them. It seems like the Patriots are the Yankees of the NFL.

Yet another great couple of examples. For those that are not from around this area, the possible move to Hartford was a REALLY BIG DEAL back then. Everyone in CT was lead to believe that this was almost a certainty, when in fact there were really no intentions of leaving.

And leaving with two seconds left in the game was something that a child would do.

For anyone who thinks different its only cause you hate them. They are a awesome team. Simply amazing is the way to put it. The only other team i like better is the Minnesota Vikings which the Pats beat all of the Vikings records. Funny thing is Moss was on both of those record setting teams. And to justify the pats loss. The Giants did get lucky, the Pats offesive line fell apart. Had they been able to give Brady the time he needed. You guys would have seen a totally different game. Something along the lines of 35 - 17 PATS.

For everybody who says the Pats suck, Sorry but your wrong. They are a great team. And as far as the Miami goes. The Pats were way better, they just didn't clinch the final game which puts them down a rank. So YES. The Giants and Miami both got lucky. Tom is an awesome 1/4 back and he'll rise next year again. I'll bet my Mustang says the Giants don't make playoffs next year. You can write that down as well...

To sum it up....

pats great meh, they had an 18-1, doesnt mean anything without the superbowl. The most important game is what they lost and they deserve no credit for what they did. if they dont clinch it in the end, EVERYTHING they have done up til then was for nothing. The giants wanted it more and derserved it more. ok,....next question who is skipping out on work and going to the parade?

I would hate to see someone hate all the members of the team, aka The Patriots, because they did not build a stadium in the area. That is business, business changes.

As for the running up the scoreboard. This is the National Football League with grown men. This is not Little League, or in this situation, Pop Warner.

Patriots have more overall talent. The Giants put what they had together, well enough to win by 3 points

I do like the fact that Eli and Peyton both got MVP and SuperBowl wins, in back to back years and they are brothers That is something you do not see to often.
