well for the past month ive been daily driving a 99 ranger  saves me gas.

today i took the stang for a drive and its true. they put a smile on your face :D

now from sitting for a month its really dirty. i fixed a few little things that have been bugging me and i think i am going to keep it after it painted...because i know as soon as i would sell it im going to regret ever selling it. :(

anyway a few pics.

i put the blue leds in the HVAC controls, new tie rod ends, and a oil change today...then took a drive. boy did i miss the sound.

blurry pic.

Sonic blue with a heavy pearl clear coat :nice:

1. That would look terrible, Sonic blue already has a ton of pearl in it.

2. A pearl clearcoat is not an advised practice, If you want to overlay a pearl coat you make whats called a mid coat. IE: Solid blue base color with a transparent blue pearl mid coat. After this you would clear it, I should also mention that if you did a pear clear good luck not stripping or mottling the pearl.

Ryan, I did my car with Sonic Blue 4 years ago and I love the color. Code SN if you dont already have it.

I dunno...never seen it on the blue so you might be right, but performance red looks pretty awesome with it, though this pic doesn't really do it justice.

I am not saying that it cant be done, what I am saying is that if not done correctly it looks pretty bad. Also like I mentioned you dont do it over a color that already has that much pearl in it. Sonic blue takes about a whole bottle of pearl per gallon.

98 cobra rims I believe.

Ryan, a sonic blue would be awesome on that car! I think that car either needs to be blue or green. And blue would look the best I think.

Like the HVAC gauges? I love having my interior blue like that. I even put the spare blue bulbs in my mirror map light. I really like blue:rolleyes: The only thing I dont like are the knobs. I like the straigter ones better. But just my opinion. I've found that most others like ones like yours, so...

Like we said before the Sonic would look killer, just look at mustangjoe :nice:

plan is to go sonic blue. with silver. the MUSTANG on the rear bumper will get painted silver as will the one on the front. then MUSTANG LX will be painted on the decklid. and i dont know if i want to do something like the the 85-86 GTs had on the hood or not yet.
