Hey guys, my friend has a 99 GT 5spd, 373's CAI, plenum throttle body, underdrive pulleys. I have basically stock, just a PI intake and K&N filter. I just got some heads i will be porting out, with hopefully some comp cams 262s. Oh I will try to do Long Tubes while i have the motor apart also. Is this enough that wipe that grin off his uptight a$$? He is always putting down NPI cars. If this isnt enough, what other mods should i get? Thanks

well since he has gears it will be a little harder, i can beat bone stock 99-04's, just do the best job on the heads as you can, if you need any help ask me, im still working on my heads because im just not satisfied with them yet, and i have 25++ hours in them, def get longtubes, and maybe 4:10's, and the driver mod is prolly the biggest thing!!!!;)

dang, i cant wait to finish my motor:D!!!!

well you already got a PI manifold. With some gears and a tune I would say you would do just fine. I got a buddy with an auto and 4.10s with a PI manifold and he can run down some of the PI cars with boltons.

Im gonna post a vid later of me going through a few gears, and i would love it if you experienced driver's would critique me. I usually shift at 5500RPMS from 1-2. Then 2-3 and so on I shift like 5200RPMS.

I dont like to powershift, i dont have much money to spend on this thing, not for another 2 months when it is paid off. I noticed in the video my 2-3 seemed a bit weak, maybe i will go at it again, and have the camera girl sit in the back, to shoot my shifting and the tach.

Both 1-2 and 2-3 will get better over time.
