Agreed....just want to say the rev was set at 5100,with the msd 2step,think it kinda starts a little earier also,i was just taking it home to swap to a bigger pulley for less boost and add 60 injectors so he can finish the tuneDamn that sucks! I hate it for Ya! But, I remember something you posted in an earlier post that really bothered me but I didn't mention it. You stated that your tuner told you to keep it under 5300 rpm's until you upgraded your injectors.
That scared me because that's IMPOSSIBLE and definitely living on the edge! He should have put a 5000 rpm pill in your ignition box (if you're running one) or programmed it in the tune if you're running a chip, ect.
My tuner is a close friend of mine and IMO one of the best in the South East. He would've never let my car or any of his other customers cars leave his shop until the fuel problem was resolved and tuned safely.
People just don't realize that all it takes is "one", only one lean pop to blow a head gasket on a supercharged engine. 99.9% of the time lean conditions blow head gaskets. Not a particular brand of gasket.
Hey, it happened. Hang in there Buddy and get it straightened out.. It'll be worth it!!
I was thinking same thing, and so did he,because he said that even though he likes and uses the mls gaskets, the 9333pt1s should work fine, also dont forget other idiot did a few pulls with his crap tune too!....he actually wants to stop by when i take the heads out to look things over,so it dosnt happen again...and is going to take the heads to redeck where he gets his done....wich is i nice offer because he is an hour away...agreed- you can run fat all day long but lean only once. Sure hope the deck is not warped because that means pulling the whole damn motor out. Let us know what the test results are....
No it doesn't....seems familiar to the last time,at this point I'm going to just pull it apart and start with intake and see, don't think I'm going to bother with the tests this timeDamn that sucks... I know as I just finished up my hg job. Replaced my 9333s with 9333s. Does the coolant smell of combustion?

please post the carnage pics. I'd buy you a drink or two if you were closer. Doesn't help any but trust me - we have all been there at one time or another. I blew up my 67 missing a 2-3 shift at Englishtown and had to be towed home some 50 miles. Shot an axle on my 87 vert when it had 300 miles on it at Moroso- towed 50 miles home.. Put a supercharger on my 90 and was stupid enough to let my fiance drive it- hit the gas too hard around a turn- snapped an axle, broke both rims on that side, broke the driveshaft, exhaust and ended up in a ditch- and you got it- towed home.
Same side yes?...and what do you mean? This is the same side same cylinders right? If so you may have a serious problem.
Yes heads are going in for min deck...but block?....dont tell me block???You may want to have the heads and block checked. Just as a precaution....
well the fire ring held.... but.... that don't look pretty. Lay a straight edge on that deck and see if you can stuff a thousands feeler gauge in there.
