Progress Thread My Kenne Bell Twin Screw'd Foxbody thread, (new addition to the family)

So my hopes of getting my car on the road this last weekend were crushed by a leaking MC reservoir. All that was needed was bleed the brakes and install my cat back. Went to bleed the brakes and MC was leaking at the seam on the reservoir. Very upsetting to say the least but LMR isn't great for no reason, right? So they are sending me out a new 93' Cobra MC at no cost which I should get this Friday and they aren't asking for the old one back. Once I get the MC installed it will be time to do a bleed, then find an empty parking lot to adjust the brakes, then off to an exhaust shop to fine tune the exhaust install ,then an alignment. Everything is very close to my house which makes it a lot easier. I'll update with pictures as soon as the car is on the ground and driving :cool:

Have you tried american collector for insurance?

I dont know for sure about driving to work or not
So far American Collector insurance is looking pretty good. I got a $15k agreed value policy quote which includes 100/300 coverage, uninsured motorist etc, 7,500 mile per year limit, you can drive it to work on occasion, blah blah for $545 per year which is what I'm paying now for an undervalued policy through Farmers. Not too shabby but still shopping.

Possibly my next project, a 52' Ford Customline. I want to bag it on steel wheels with white walls for a nice family cruising car. My friend is moving in June and is offering it to me for a fair deal. I need to do some research before committing but I like it so far :D

LMR came through with a new 93' Cobra MC for me on Friday. Got it bench bled, installed and brakes system installed with the big help from my 7 y/o son. Got the new pypes flow tubes shortened and installed with new Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers and my new VRS tail pipes. Car is now on the ground for the first time since last Fall :D

I started up the car and everything is looking OK so far. My exhaust still needs to be tightened up by an exhaust shop and the tail pipes shortened a bit. Still need to take it for a drive and adjust brakes and get an alignment.

@TOOLOW91
I know you have OEM Cobra seats in your car so I'm wondering if you know (or anyone else reading this) know what a decent price is for a pair of Cobra seats in good condition is?

600 -1200 being the very high side . Avg is some where around 800ish to 1000

I scored mine for 600 from a friend out of his termi because he got a black suede set out of an 04 car he paid 1100 for those

Huh, there is a set for $500 near me. I'm considering it but not sure.
500 ? if they are not destroyed they should be in your car already. Let me no if you get them ill tell you how to make all the power work including the side bolster which are a separate set of switches on the seat.
