What manual trans will bolt up to it?
T45/t3650/t56?
Yes, any trans that will bolt up to a 4.6. He is using his 3550.

Same bell pattern as the 4.6, so any manual or auto that was factory fit or anything that can adapt via bellhousingWhat manual trans will bolt up to it?

Yes, for the most part it was designed to replace the mod motor 1:1 in production, same mounts, bell, and basic external dimensions.So.. What you guys are saying, is that a Coyote would easily swap into a car/truck that came with a 4.6/5.4 ?
If you're asking for a comparison in which would be a better swap in a Mustang, that's a no brainier for me. Nothing but a Ford motor in my Ford. There's no denying either of them being great engines. As far as one versus the other, I guess it comes down to personal opinions or feelings. Me personally, I can't stomach a chevy engine in a Ford period, but that's just my .02 cents.
Bossed
but pricewise I would just use a 302 with a power adder over the other two
Which is where I was before I decided to swap. However, the stock block was the limit. If I wanted more, I would have had to spend $2,000.00. Just didn't seem worth the hassle at that time in life.TFS top end kit on a built 331 with a TKO behind it would be much cheaper and an easier drop in. But, you lose the "coolness" factor of the Coyote swap.
I think most of the allure of the swap is a direct drop in "stock" engine that runs smooth as butter, can have A/C and put down 400HP. Plus it looks badass under the hood.
Is that worth $10-15K? I dunno. You tell me.
You can get cruise control to work. Has to do with different parameters in the tune. Was reading in another thread that there is no way to get cruise control to work with a Coyote swap.
How about LS? you can get cruise to work in those IIRC.

Nope, not without ABS and supporting harnesses etc, no way to get car to "reduce" speed downhill etcYou can get cruise control to work. Has to do with different parameters in the tune.
Personal opinion not worth it at all.
Let's say it 15K, what are used higher mileage 2011-12s GT 5.0 going for 20k ish. Rather get a newer car and keep the coolness factor of a/c, decent paint, cruise control. IMO
