Drivin stangs in the winter

I prefer to drive my snow-mobiles (aka 00' Taurus SES or my 4x4 Dodge Diesel truck) when the white stuff is flying... once it clears off and the roads are dry I will drive the GT.

I have to admit that driving home from work during a snow squal in the GT was a religious experience. I have never prayed so hard in my life that the idiots behind me would keep their distance and the ones in front of me wouldn't slam on the brakes. It figures, of course, that the on coming traffic lane was all salted, sanded and plowed but our lane wasn't. :bang:

This is my first winter driving in my stang. I got a set of Pirelli Snowsports put on and haven't had a problem. Snow tires plus not driving like an ******* and I've been all right so far. The only thing that pisses me off is how dirty my car gets. I need to get rich so I can buy another vehicle for the winter.

Say what you want about mini-vans, but my Chrysler Town and Country All-wheel-drive is better than ANYTHING in the winter, bar none. Put Blizzacks on this vehicle and I bet it could climb a ski slope! This is by far the best winter vehicle ever made by any manufacturer. Don't get me started, however, on all of the stupid things that went wrong with this friggin thing. (some are STILL not fixed!) Don't even talk to me about Chrysler's ****ty warrenty that is not worth the paper it is written on. But if I need to get someplace in a blizzard, I wrap my azz in my mini-van. :nice:

That and driving in the snow can be fun.
