What items would you like to see the aftermarket manufactures improve upon?

It seems that some of the suppliers and manfactures keep in touch with this forum. I though it would be a good place to voice what products we would like to see improved upon, either for stock replacement or restomod upgrade.

Door Sill Covers - I can't stand the flimsy aluminium door sills. I would love to see them in a heavier gauge metal or even in plastic. I'm not looking for them to necessarily be stock looking, just more durable.

I would like to see the warrenty improve on all aftermarket parts. I would like all of them to have long term wear/enviromental/fitment testing done before they are released to the public just like the OEM parts are tested. Yes, I would pay more money for a better quality part that I would only have to replace once. NO MADE IN CHINA PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to see sheetmetal that fits properly, and chrome trim that actually shines and fits and is made out of a decent material like it should be in the first place.

I know this isn't what you were after, but I have to say it anyways...

Emblem prices! I mean, $40ea for a 1"x3" piece of chromed plastic! (talkin' GTA emblem). Half that would be a fair price.

Also, door panels with the remote mirror hole already made/set. (haven't seen it for '67 Mustangs, have to make your own even though it was an available option)

Repro Weatherstripping.

I got a kit from autokrafters. Most of it was very nice, but some of it leaves a lot to be desired, like the foam seal that goes along the body that the windows seal against. This should really be high quality rubber. Also the vent window seals.. it's unlikely they will ever keep wind out.
I second the sill plates.
