who makes the Best Catalyic H-Pipe?

Where can i get Bassani LT's/ A bassani X w/ cats at a decent price. I know they are expensive, but where is the best place to buy them online.

Mine has had the one from BBK for about 5 years. Decent, but I find the fit to hang a little low for some reason.

YES! I have a BBK off-road pipe on my car and it hangs too damned low.

Sounds pretty good, and made a noticeable power difference though.

Any body know the penalty if a cop pulls you over without Cats? Is it just a fix it ticket or what?

Technically, the fine in CA is $2500 per missing cat...which means $10000 for an offroad midpipe on a 99-04 GT...and I wish I was joking...now of course cops aren;t going tocrawl under your car but could use a mirror. They might just give you a fix it ticket for the sound, but there are roving spot checks by the State to check for modified cars...lame yes, is this gonna change, no.

I'm going with a 383 & tubular k, etc on my 88 coupe. I am going to be using 1 3/4 shorties instead of the l/t's & lt X.

I heard Bassani X-pipes dont sound all that great with Flowmaster AT. should i spend the $ on a Bassani X-pipe and hope for the best? I dont really have the $ to get a new Catback system 2.
