i love my car!

I always love the first drive of the spring. I really don't mind storing my stang at all. It keeps it from getting salt all over it and getting rusty. Driving a regular car (525i) all winter really makes you realize how fast the stang actually is.

I buy some mods each Xmas, install them in the winter, and then really appreciate the car every spring. This year the car will roll out with LCAs, Cobra brakes, Clear Corner Lights and a Strut Brace. Should be another nice little set of improvements.:nice:

I went about a week without driving my car when it started pissing me off.

I went from driving a lifted 4x4 Jeep to the Mustang again, and it felt fast then.

Now its getting that dull feeling again... Maybe I should set it aside, start driving the Jeep again, and do some modding with the down time on the Stang. Im sure itd feel alot better then... hahaha.

Sucks too cause I got the car in April and went from 92k to 106k now, not even a year.

Ok, lets see. Right now i have a p1sc-2,cobra tank and pumps, anderson powerpipe, chip with custom tune, 42#'s, and a coule other little things. That put me at 427 rwhp, 425 rwtq. Going in now, Im getting cobra block, forged internals, blower cams, fox lake stg 2 heads, 60#s, thinking about ford gt pumps, p51 intake manifold, and meth injection. I think that will get me close from what Ive been told??

Oh yea, the other thing that sucks besides not driving it all winter, is that even during the summer the car only comes out to play on weekends and thats only if its not raining!! I only put like 4000 miles on my car last summer.

you still doing the FRPP blower?

yes,
thats one of the reasons i haven't driven the car in a year...gathering parts for the Teksid build was a PITA but the main reason was my lower back was still healing from my car accident and the lowered suspension on my Mustang was not what the Doctor ordered for my 3 herniated disks :nono: so i took the time to work on the interior etc...but i'm healing up and looking forward to cruising it all summer this year.

i get pissed at certain things with the car, like the notchy shift into second and having to worry about loseing a spark plud and messin up the heads, but over all ive been lucky so far. i know i will be saying i hate this damn car sometime down the road if i ever lose a spark plug....thats a pita.

anyway, my car has been in stroage for the winter. today, i decided to get things moving a bit and take it to work (20min) each way.

just watching peoples reactions when they see it, and pushing the pedel to the floor reminds me why go through the effert and money to make this car what it is.

its different when you drive your car every day like i do in the nice weather. it doesnt feel fast and you are used to it.

however, when you dont drive you car for a month or so, you realize that the car is pretty fast.................and it feels great!!!

just thought id share my experiance and feeling. now its back in the garage till spring.

you and me both man i hate my car at times but then other times when i just nail the gas pedal and let her spin i just fall in love all over again. Yes mustangs have there problems as any car does. But its the thought of having a mustang just makes me feel good. most people dont understand why im not driving something else but they will never understand until they own one.

Is this meeting only jersey guys?? Or would an RI guy be welcome. I havent been to jersey in years. I have distant family there. It would be cool for me and my girl to go down for a weekend and hit up the boardwalk.

HERE HERE:nice:

yea, they are great weekend cars and nice weather cars. honestly if i drove mine as a daily driver( i hate to say it) but i dont know how well it would be holding up. i guess ill know when i get some more miles on her. got about 12,000. so far it been great...no real problems.

however, when something does go wrong im in trouble...ford wont even touch my car with all the mods. i have to get it towed all the way to the mechanic/tuner. hopefully ill be lucky with it for a while longer:nice:

I bought mine used w/ about 25000 on the clock, Im less than 50 miles from 50000 now....still love her:hail2: :hail2: :nice:
