What type of turbo should I get?

so whats so special about the hx35 .only thing i see good about them is that they can handle 35+ on the boost.and that they dont hit full boost till almost 4000 rpm. not that great for a street car.i see almost full boost by 3 grand and the SC50 can handle 25+ on the boost. and it bolts up to the stock exhaust.

Its a stock motor.... where can I get these used turbos everyone has? SHould I get a header? With a FMIC, full exhaust, K&N, throttle body, and boost controller.... WHAT can I expect horsepower and 1/4 mile without turbo swap......and then with swap? IM new with these cars and am wondering all about the stuff to do, I have a 99 GT and it runs 13.7........Im shooting to grt mid 13's.. THX everyone

There was a big discussion about this over on turboford.org. The conclusion was that on an engine with little to no airflow mods(head, intake, cam, etc) a 50-trim T4 would work fairly well. It is happier at high pressure/moderate airflow rates.

In short.....ebay. However, more demand = higher prices; that's why the Holset prices are so much higher than they were a few years ago. You'll be competing with the Mitsubishi, Honda, Subaru, Mazda, and general import crowds for a Holset.

With that in mind, you want to sell me your old SVO turbo? It'll help fund your new one.....:)
