Professional Products Throttle Body

Hey guys,

I was wondering what the word is on Professional Products intake plenums/throttle bodies. They're by far the best deal around, but i was wondering if anybody was running their products on their Stang? If so, what is your take on their stuff? As good or not as good as BBK/MAC, etc.?

Will you really gain any power from an aftermarket plenum/75mm tb on a pretty much stock GT?

Thanks.

I had a PP Throttle Body/Plenum combo it was good, but machining and such was awful, couldnt even hardly get the throttle cable in the TB LOL

I had the same problem with mine. I just drilled the hole out a little bit and it works great. I have no complaints about mine. You won't notice much with a tb/plenum on a stock motor. If you add a cold air intake/ram air intake, then you would notice it a little more.

the product is fine, you do need to kind of make the hole for the throttle cable larger, but everything else was up to par. It even gives you two diff rear fittings in case you havr a 96-98 or 99+ which accufab soesn't. Never have had a prob with it for about 1.5 years

yes, only factor to consider with dyno numbers is what kind of TB+Plenum it has, yup that decides it

It wasn't the THROTTLEBODY and PLENUM that caused the low number it was the INTAKE.

Everyone that has dynoed the PROFESIONAL PRODUCTS TYPHOON INTAKE has lost power. Even when coupled with other PLENUMS and THROTTLEBODY combos. Not to mention that a lot of them leaked.

The THROTTLEBOBY and PLENUM are just fine, Just stay away from the TYPHOON INTAKE.

I made over 515 to the wheel with stock heads, intake, valves, and valve springs @ 12 psi by 6200 rpm with the PP TB/PLENUM.
