Sounds nothing like it did

After I did my PI swap HCI and BBK shorty headers the sound is completly different. Was a raspy loud noise but now it has a deep deep loud tone to it. Just woundering if anyone that has done a PI swap noticed the same thing?

It's due to the PI cams and heads.


If you ever hear a stock 96-98 and a stock 99=04...they sound nothing alike. The 99+ has always had a deeper more aggressive sound. I can tell the difference when one drives by without even having to look

Its almost the same as hearing a 2V and a 4V.. you can really hear the difference apart from each other.

When I did mine I went from using an X pipe with stock headers to using bbk Longtubes with the H pipe and a more mild cam. Couldn't be happier with the way it sounds

I know, i know... i wish i could just shut up about them and just get one.. But my car doesnt feel that fast anymore. I know everyone gets use to the power that they have and want more but i just dont have the money. I am getting married and moving out of state within the next year so money will be far from none. But at least i will always have :SNSign:

mine jus sounded healthier, and cleaner, but then again, i went from a 150k mile motor with a head gasket problem, to one with only 39k miles on her, plus the shorties.
