Dumped mufflers and the stock cam seems to be the problem.
We almost have the EXACT same combo except I have a Bassani catback minus the tailpipes. Not dumped, but blowing free and it is loud as h***!!
Ask Keith how loud my car is idling and through the gears.
Also, u need a cam? Might have what you are looking for.
For me, it's all about tone rather than loudness. I don't want my car just to make noise.

your car sounds soooo good to me. hell i tried to buy your mufflers like 3 or 4 times.

They are the "Street Competition" mufflers that come with the catback.
Loud and they have tone.

No, somebody posted that in 4.6Talk last week. It sounds like crap IMO. I had an 03 Cobra vert with BBK long tubes, bbk x pipe and SLP catback. Sounded almost just like that. I hated it, ended up giving the car to my GF (I know, I was
whipped) and made two more payments on it before we broke up and then she got the car repoed, it was in her name by that time though

Appears to be the LM1 and X pipe coupled with the 2V 4.6. Its loud and raspy but Idk if I like it. I heard off road X and stingers on a cobra and fell in love, but this almost seems to be louder and idk if I like it so much.
Also we have pypes mufflers with a catted H on my sisters 89 GT, and I hate to say, that car is quiet. It seems quieter than when it had Flowmasters on it...

well guys im goin to pick up some lt's soon and a 3" o/r pipe with some bullits or stingers here in the future, that should sound alot better..

If you ask me, this is one of the nicest sounding Mustangs I've ever heard.
You can tell its still got the stock cam, but that bassani X-Pipe and cat-back sound awesome! This is my next set-up.
