Well I saw one here ( Germany AFFESS Autosales) and i must say they look very mean. It is all black and it is a 6 speed. The freeking Sticker was $44,500! I would like to have one but dang! What kind of mods would it take for my stock 92 LX to show one up?

It won't take many mods. My friends Dad has loaded up one that is stock and he only ran consistent 13.50's. He said it wouldn't even spin the tires at the track and would bog. Another one he saw the same day with a CAI and a tune was only running 13.0's.

The RT has like 350hp and stickers for $30,000. You probly seen a 425hp srt8. They look good but I think dodge is pricing themselves out of the segment. If the srt8 was around $36k I could see it but not mid $40's

This is a mustang website...not doge

yeah, so? the challenger is a direct mustang competitor and a car that some of us in 5.0 land would love to outperform. whats wrong with discussing mustangs competition on our own forum? its not like he has a challenger and is asking what he needs to do to beat a shelby or something.

a new GT500 stickers for about the same depending on options, convertibles are a little bit more. some places are still getting over list for them but not much if at all, at least compared to how it was when they first came out.

Dont spin the tires?????....Probbaly had the traction control on and even if its shut off its not a 100% percent off...Ask me how i know...I have a 2006 Magnum SRT-8..mine with a CAI and resonators removed runs [email protected] thats weighing in at 4585 lbs with me in it...there heavy thats one problem..Now they final came out with an hand held tuner so that helps alot...Plus i spray a 100 shot..runs 12.0@118 mph...i dont have the tuner yet and never tried a 125-150 jet yet but im sure once i do the 11's are right there...not to bad considering it weighs a good 1000 pds more then GT/LX....yeah i know it has more cu inches mine is the 6.1...371 cu inches rated at 425 hp and 435 ft pounds of torque...On dyno's that put anywhere to 350-380 to the wheels....stock that is...and the funny this is the A/F readings...there in the low 10's high 11's so they run rich thats the way the factory set them so they wouldnt blow up i guess...Thats why the tuner helps them so much you can lean it out some...sorry for the long post just wanted to explain the car a little....

Yea a buddy of mine had one. He built a custom shaker hood for it and had one of the first prochargers on it. With 5psi the car made like 475rwhp IIRC. The car is truly huge and makes a GT500 look small. The car seemed like a dog from a dig but from a low speed roll t he could spin the tires on it. Another thing that kills the car other than the weight is the gears they put in it.

Looks like this guy met his match:

Stock SRT's it wouldnt take to many mods because the GT's are lite...But there are so many SRT's that arent stock, seems like they Mod them pretty quick....just a couple bolt ons and the Diabolo tuner there in the mid 12's....And now they have superchargers for them and really good nitrous kits for them..i guess its like any car what is stock today...LOL......I mean the SRT starts its life at high 12's to very very low 13's stock....Were as the mustangs are in the 14's stock..maybe some in the low 14's..high 13's.....you have a better change to beat an R/T then the SRT....IMO...mod for mod...I had an R/T 1st,then i went to an SRT.. The R/T ran 14.3 with exhaust and a cold air intake...so i hope this helps.....
