Howdy all!

I know it's been forever and a day since I posted, but it's been a long time coming, so I thought y'all would like an update.

It runs! It drives! Finally!

For those that don't remember, or have joined in the last oh... 4 or 5 years, hahah, here's the stats:

'66 fastback
C code 289/C4 that I ditched for a roller 5.0/T-5
Mustang Steve cable clutch/roller bearing pedals/power brakes
I changed the interior color from red to black, got the paint/flames in '04
Full wiring harness from Painless
Floor mounted e-brake from a foxbody Mustang
Some sneaky anti-theft tricks that y'all don't get to hear about. ;)

Engine is a '91 block
Forged pistons
Aluminum World Products Heads
TFS Stage II cam
Crane 1.6 roller rockers
Hedman headers
Edelbrock RPM intake
Edelbrock 600 cfm carb
MSD billet distributor and 6AL box
Retained the 5.0 serpentine pulley setup

The car also has 620# springs in the front, Mustangs Plus 4.5 rear springs from way back when they were called "Magna", a Granada front brake swap, and vintage ET wheels. The interior includes custom guage faces and lighting, some modern racing seats to hold me in place, and an updated speaker setup that includes a sub in the trunk.

I started it and ran it around the block for the first time in almost 4 years, and it was a great feeling. Loud, since I don't have the exhaust run yet, but great none the less.

Here are a few quick and dirty pics of it's working, current, and cleaned-up states.

hi blake,

You car is great lookin! Congrats :nice:

I have a question about your Granada Front Disc Brake Setup:
Which brake hose did fit on your brake line to the caliper?

I have also a granada Front Disc Setup installed on my 65 Stang (one of
the previous owner installed it, not me) and i want to replace the brake hoses.
Found various information on the internet which brake hose will fit so im confused. Maybe you know which one will fit

Have fun with your ride,

greetings
Mario

Hey Blake, Nice ride! And welcome back. What company did you get the hood from? Looks like it fits perfect (it is fiberglass right?)

I sometimes wish I would have done the 5.0 carbed, but I love the EFI too much.

No sir, it's a steel hood with a fiberglass scoop bonded on. I used a product called DynaWeld from Welcome To Autobodystore.com.

worked great!
