Hey guys, I could really use a little advise and would be very appreciative to anyone who can take a second to lend some advise. I'm a total supercharger newb and haven't done a bit of research other than the few hours after I bought this thing. I have a thread on this page regarding the low dyno numbers. I was pretty mad with how low it was so I got impulsive and bought this. Hopefully it works well with the mods I have already done with my car. (specifically hoping my vt stge ii na cams will be ok? will this be bad for some reason?)

I have a few questions I could use some help with.

Will my 190lph steeda fuel pump work?

I'm thinking about adding a cx racing intercooler from ebay? should I? (reason I'm questioning is because I may already be at the limit of what the block will take with just the blower?!? or at least that's what I'm thinking?) this would be the right one, i want 3in pipe right? And I read somewhere when doing searches on here that I don't want the large 4in core, because it's too large.

I talked to him and before I pick it up he offered me one or the other as far as the pullyes. One makes 8lb the other 13lb. Which one would I want to take and does the intercooler affect that decision?

Thanks sooo much for anyone who can take a second to help me out here. I'm a total supercharger newb and made this decision rapidly without thinking it through or doing research. That's why I have all the questions above. I usually do the research before buying. Hopefully that is a nice unit. Any guess on hp?

Novi's are great blowers.

To start, I'd choose the 8lb pulley. It will keep you within a safe HP range, and most people will agree that 10lbs is about all a stock internal 4.6 will reasonably put up with for an extended period of time. Not saying that quite a few people haven't done more, but I wouldn't risk it to start.

well, i'm going to pick up the kit tomorrow. I'm getting 42lb injectors and lightning maf as well.

I'm still hoping someone might chime in on wether or not to replace the 190lph pump I have right now.

And, how the supercharger will work with my mods, specifically the vt stge ii cams.

A Focus SVT pump should be able to give you enough fuel, just make sure you are 100% that you are ordering the correct part, because I know that Focus Pumps have changed part numbers or have been confused with stock Focus pumps (which aren't 255lph like the SVT part.)

ordered a 255lph....thanks guys.

Well i've talked on the phone with alot of people now regarding my last dyno @ about 260hp. Every person I've talked to without exception has said even for an auto that is wayyyyy low. Those numbers would be better if it just had cams but not the heads and cams. I'm almost certain my cams need to be degreed and that's what has caused the low numbers. I'm hoping I don't get hammered but I'm going to pay to have them done. When I installed the heads and everything myself I wanted to degree but to be honest I just didn't get it. And now with it going to a shop for the blower tune I think it would be best to get it done. People have told me to expect 400+ @ the rear wheels, provided the cams are degreed and that was the problem.

Any idea what I should be paying for a cam degree? I have been getting wildly different quotes.

Degreeing the cams should help you out a little bit - 400 to the rear is definitely possible - I just hope that having N/A cams doesn't hurt you. PTV shouldn't be an issue as long as you re-program your shift points to a conservative RPM level.
