its been way to long and i have finally got back into a stang. and better yet its an 04 mach 1. i fell in love with it and its retro styling since the first day i layed eyes on one. i picked up the screaming yellow. she is all stock except for a jlt cai. the first thing i'm prolly gonna do is full exhaust with a set of bbk's or mac LT's into an o/r h pipe. I'm not sure if i wanna go with the flowmaster's or borla's. maybe some of you can persuade me. By next year i plan on putting a blower on not totally sure which one to go with so if anyone has had any experience on these let me know what you got.

My granddad bought a 04 Screaming Yellow Mach 1 last fall. I don't normally like yellow cars, but it looks PERFECT with all the black trim on the Mach 1. IMO, the 03/04 Mach 1s and Cobras are the best looking Mustang Ford has ever built.

Glad to hear you got a nice car. Take care of her and enjoy it. :nice:

2. Flows if you like a deep, mean hollow growl. Borla's if you prefer a more aggressive, in your face scream.

3. Vortech S or SQ, or Paxton Novi 2000. Both are great kits and will make more power than your stock motor can handle. If you ever plan on building your motor, and want to make max power, get the Novi 2k.

4. Pics. NOW.

ive always been fond of the flowmaster sound as well. but i think the borlas just sound like they should be feared =) and i like that " in your face scream" plus i dont see a lot of people running borla around here so i think id like it to be a little different. ill get some pics up today if i can figure it out. im pretty new to this site. i didnt even have a stang yet when i joined. plus i gotta clean her up a bit. i collected some bug guts on the bumper from cruising it all night.

I ENVY YOU, I started to fall in love with the mach1 about 3months ago, and want one so bad now I can't stand it. How you ask, well I'd almost take the 6k I got save for my daughters college and sell my left nut for the rest to buy one. Yep all my money gets saved for my kids education, and there not even 5 yet :l

Congrats!!!

I have owned my Mach 1 for roughyly 4 years now, & I love every minute of it. The main thing I like about them is, you don't see them every day. It doesn't take much to get these cars over 300rwhp, & not much to get them in the 12's at the track.

Here's a few vids that might help your exhaust decision. The combo is Mac LT's, o/r h, & bassani catback...

Congrats on picking up the mach. They're beautiful cars and always head turners.
Personally, if it was me (which it was in '03) I'd skip the blower idea. By design, they're collector cars and putting a blower on it may well make it less valuable. I know alot of people don't care, but like I said...that's if it was me. Besides, it only takes a few mods to make them pretty fast now.

Either way, I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of it.

Here's some pics of blzn04's mach. Sweet ride.
