I installed a after market clutch, resurfaced the flywheel, new throw out bearing, pressure plate and pilot bearing. Now when I disengage (clutch pedal way through) the clutch after changing a gear there is a constant scratching noise. Do the clutches take a bit to break in? Or did I install the clutch the wrong way?
While I did the clutch I took off the smog stuff. When I did this I took off the intake manifold and forgot how the vacuum lines went. Now I dont have any power steering. I'm sure its because I put the lines in the wrong way. I can take a picture if you guys need it. Or if anyone has any detailed pics of where the lines are suppose to go I would greatly appreciate it. I looked on google and couldnt find any sn95 specific pictures. thanks alot.

When the pedal is depressed (towards the floor), it makes a scratching noise? It's likely a TOB or bearing retainer issue.

Did you mess with the PS system at all? It's not vacuum actuated.

Was the bearing retainer chewed up at all?

Did you disconnect any hydraulic lines when you did the rack bushings (it's not necessary but some people do)?
