Frustrated with Mach 1 Grille Delete

BurningRubber, no the car has never been in any kind of accident. I am the only and original owner of the car. Been parked most of its life in my heated garage...only have 8,800 miles on it and hasn't even seen rain. The bumper and hood lines are all straight and true....all the gaps are the same and looks the same as it did when I drove it home over 10 years ago. From the looks of the difference in the two horses, then my bet is on the quality of the piece from BOI because the fitment royally sucks.

Yeah the pics were taken from different angles...hard to get good pics from the front when pulled up and not much room left in front of car in the garage. The passengers side pic was taken from a higher angle and the drivers side was taken a lot lower and more of a "head" on angle to really show the gap width. That's why the hood lines do look different in the pics...sorry about that...wasn't really noticiing that when i took the pics. When I loosened up the palnuts from the bottom side of the panel, I can slide it over to the drivers side and it will fit down tight but the then the passengers side will look like the drivers side did. So my case in point that the panel is too short. Even if I were to narrow up the holes in the top of the bumper that would make the gap even wider cause I loosened up the tops and pulled them closer together slightly and made it look even worse. I should have my new panel from ford today hopefully. My sequential tail light install is going much better in the rear thank goodness. Just waiting on my new smoked tails to get here from American Muscle.

Well picked up the new panel from Ford today...brought it home and fits perfect....just goes to show how big of a difference factory ford parts make over aftermarket junk which is sold as oem....the only part out of the BOI kit that worked was the rear panel....wow 90 bucks for a rear panel was a hell of a lot of money when the other pieces in the kit were junk!

I would tell you to try to get your money back, but BOI is probably reading this thread and has already put a call-block on your number...

Glad it worked out, that sucks they sold you a cheap, non-fitting part. In all seriousness, I would try to contact them and see about reimbursement. You received something other than what you paid for.

Thanks, burningrubber but I already called them about a week ago and since I bought it back in August and I got busy working on new nursery for my new child and didn't get to install it until recently, they said it was past their 30 day return policy and was sorry I was dissatisfied with the product. I was polite and said I understood cause policies are policies and since I had waited so long it put it back on me...but yeah definately kinda crappy. Just glad I finally have all the pieces to make it look great and the way it's supposed to look...
