It was a near perfect day for the track and I managed a new best.

First run I pretty much dropped the clutch at 3000 rpm and it bogged bad so the second run I did it at 4000 and same thing so on the third run I dropped it at 5000 and it hooked. I couldn't believe it. I've never been able to do that at the track before. I think the prep and the fast cars before me were key.

The funny part it's I had six other runs ranging from 12.0 to 12.3 with all 60ft over 2.0. As soon as the sun went down and the fast cars went home it was all over for me. No traction. Since I couldn't hook anymore I did a huge john force burnout haha. Wish I had video of that

Do you have a 2nd stage rev limiter? I think your 60ft is as good as it's going to get, but you might be able to get the ET down, if you are able to build the boost up with a 2nd stage. Nice times though.

No I don't have a two step. That would be nice for when my car hooks.

With a 1.6 short time there is no doubt the car is already hooking. The two step holds the rpm by retarding the bejusus out of the timing. That is in turn going to pump a ton of heat into the exhaust which will spool the turbo up off the line.

lay off the doughnuts...

Thanks for the suspension stuff. It's great you were able to get that kinda traction on 17" tires. How'd those 315s fit on a 9" rim? I've got the Cobra Rs on mine, too. I don't know if a 315 will go under my fox, though.

Do you know what the spring rates on your H&Rs are? I'm a novice when it comes to suspension, but I'm doing my best to learn.

17 x 9 chrome cobra r rims with 275s in the front and 315 nitto 555rs in the back. H&R supersports with mach 1 shocks and struts. J&M upper and lower control arms. MM caster chamber plates.

That explains the crazy back half numbers. The car would run tens on drag suspension and slicks, but I bet it's a lot more fun to drive around corners on the street with the setup it has. Nice well rounded combo.

Here are the springs. Not sure what the spring rate is though. All I know it's it's rather high.
