I love driving my Mustang

Its pretty slow but I enjoy every minute behind the wheel. It took me driving an 05 STi to realize it. Not that the STi was a bad car, I just wasnt used to it.

The Mustang is just plain fun to drive. I think my car needs a blower now. :D

400whp + some snow tires should do me good next winter huh?? lol

Only if you mount a snow plow to the front! :D

Glad to see you still enjoy your car though. There are times where I wish I was in a newer car but for the money I simply enjoy my car and keeping some money in my pocket. People sometimes ask about its age and can't believe its 10 yrs old now but it still feels close to brand new to me.

I know what you mean about driving it, I drove a Chevy truck that is pretty quick that a buddy of mine owns, but it didnt feel fun to drive except in straight lines. There are days when I wish I had a faster car but then I realize that theres always someone faster than me, and slower... :D

Hearing that sweet exhaust rumble definitely helps too...

I need to post new pictures... I've done more stuff. I love driving my car and I always get compliments from other drivers or pedestrians. I do have a blower and I like to wake her up every so often.

And I do run Blizzaks in the winter on my stock wheels and run my Nittos in the summer on my FR500s.

Nothing like a Mustang.... :flag:

Unless I wreck it, or go bankrupt, I'll have my Mach forever. To me, they were the last, best blue collar price muscle car. Now everything is way out of my price range. I love the Challengers, but at $50K, screw that. The Boss and GT 500. Wayyy too much. I would'nt want just a GT. I'd want a Special Production Mustang again.

Stirs are way fun cars...just hard to get used to the 4 doors and the fact that if you dump the cluch and shift hard like you souls in the mustang you'll rip the tranny to prices lol...

I love my mustang and all but my evo > my mustang all day long lol...the mustang will Prolly beat it in a straight line drag race but everything else rules over the stang....

I bet if u drove th sti you'd change your mind....ok enough of me stirring the pot lol.....

Everytime I think about getting rid of mine, I realize how little of money I have in it, and how much fun I have while driving it. I will be the first person to tell you, my car needs a lot of work. The pictures make it look about 50x better than the paint really is.

That said, if I was going to get rid of it, there are only 2 cars I would consider buying. An Evo or a Mach 1 (new edge).

I have an 02 Gt as well  I love my car, I only invested in FR500 wheels, a MGW Shifter, and JLT CAI. These cars don't get enough love from the Mustang community. I have 114,000 miles no problems ! I cant believe it. Take care of it and it will take care of you :nice:

Nice Wow

Yep... despite all the issues mine has as well, I still get a lot of satisfaction from owning/driving it in some odd way.

Not the fastest, prettiest, etc... but I've put a lot of work into and it's something I'm proud of. I keep thinking about going 05+ and selling, but my counter-battle for that is a few car payments would go a long way to getting mine where I want it.
