Hiya fellas, just thought I'd chime in and say hello and maybe learn a thing or two as a I always do on Stang.net. O.k. just bought my vortech kit (barely used) on ebay and it'll be here within 10 days. It's a entry level 5 to 6 pound boost kit witch I'm fine with for a couple of months then I'll get the boost upgrade ( pulley, belt and discharge tube kit) I appreciate all your inputs in advance, thanks. It's a complete kit but I want to get everything else I need ready to go so when it gets here I can go faster right away. Checklist... msd boost timing master- got it. 42 lbs injectors- got 'em. What about fuel system ? T rex ? Along with anything else ?
Dunno y'all tell me. Thanks for your answers = )

MAF calibrated for the injectors.

And junk the FMU when it all comes in. Don't even open the box it's in, just throw it in the trash. It'll serve no purpose since you're gonna be running bigger injectors.

I just talked to my guy I got the 60#s from, he has a meter and base tune for it. You guys are on point, thanks.

I have the same kit installed on 86 GT. I have an edelbrock performer rpm intake 42# injectors adjustable fuel pressure eegulator and a 92 mm pro m racing mass ait meter a aeromotive 340lph fuel pump and a anderson power pipe and a dyno tune from work. The V3 doesnt hasve a feed and return oil line. Its self contained with a dipstick to check fluid levels and to refill. The nraided line is to drain the fluid. Nice kitto have and easy to install. A boosta pump is not needed. It just mask a fuel problem of not enough fuel. Get a good fuel pump!

Any updates?? Its been 10 days! lol Btw you def should get a bigger fuel pump and if it comes with the trex pump i would hook it up. However it is an inline pump so its not gonna do any good pulling through a stock pump! It's meant to maintain pressure when you smash on the throttle.
