I'm looking at a 93 GT..AOD with a shift kit,4.10s it has, trick flow 170cc heads,E303 cam, edelbrock intake,70mm throttle body, shorty headers, off road H-pipe MagnaFlow cat back..Im.wondering how it will perform and if it's a decent set up?

Ummm.... Better than your 85, 93, 90, and 98 (assuming none of these were blower/turbo) but not at well at the 87 turbo (when it runs)? :D

It's a mild HCI. It will run how you would expect after having owned that many Stangs. :) No miracle, especially sporting that e-cam. Cam and LTs would wake that thing up though.

The magnaflow is a good system. Catbacks are imo a personal preference. For example I like the sound of flowmasters but lots of people don't. The magnaflows have a nice mellow sound with some good rap at wot and have a good reputation for quality. For a cai the nicest imo is the Anderson power pipe but again personal preference. BBK,and plenty of house brand cai(American muscle calls theirs SR-ford motorsports calls theirs sve) will work and are all similar in quality.

As far as a the necessity of a tune goes...is debatable. That combo is mild. The car should run well without one. As long as all the parts are matched and in working order Ie MAF and injectors, sensors are functioning properly etc. A tune would clean up the fuel map etc and find a few extra horsepower and tends to clean up things like idle, part throttle drivability etc. Most of those things are subtle. The car will run fine without a chip again just a personal preference. it's not like a forced induction setup where a tune is much more important.
