    silly inner fender question

I need to replace the inner fender piece behind the shock tower on the drivers side. It's causing my hood hinge to bend in all sorts of directions. I swore it's an involved process to take off the outer fender to get to this. Which means unbolting it from the radiator support, and taking...

at first you don't succeed, try try again.

Hi, long time, no see. Not really tech, so it goes in the talk section. Last September I had the drivers side headgasket go south for the winter. I finally got off my lazy butt and fixed it. Here is why I lost motivation. (pic below) I stupidly left a rag where the cylinder head goes...

    aluminum radiators (universal)

I am looking at getting an aluminum radiator, but the custom fit ones where no fabrication is needed are expensive (Griffen, BeCool). I'm thinking about getting a Howe or Fluidyne with minimal fabrication (less then a one day ordeal), any input for a 67 stang with a SB radiator support? thanks!

    Scorched a head gasket!

Hey guys, long time no talk. It's been pretty quiet concerning my Stang, I am mostly worried about work. But I had it running hot for a day, and after that I get a lot of white smoke from the driver's side exhaust, and it wreaks of antifreeze. I am loosing the coolant with no leaks. So I...

    weird front end squeek.

From the drivers side. If I push the car up and down by the driver's fender it squeeks and creaks. When turning it does this as well. I had a problem similiar to this on the other side, and it was the upper control arm bushing. My grease gun won't fit on the zerk fitting. because it is...

Help me pick my new carb

I have decided to give the Road Demon the boot. It runs way too rich when idling. And it is way oversized. Too bad, she looks pretty. I have decided to get a Street Avenger. But which one? the 570cfm, or 670cfm. Holley recommends the 670cfm for over 300hp. But the old calculation...

I was at the tire store the other day and my starter does what it usually does when it's hot. it just barely makes a noise and it cranks slow, and doesn't start until it's cool again. somebody had a sunbeam tiger there, and was more or less familiar with ford's. he said to try running another...
