Occasionally when I start my engine, it will knock once or so as it initially fires. Is this pretty common, or is it an indicator of an underlying problem?

Thinking about doing VT Stage 2 cams in the spring, along w/ 4.10s...what will this do to my gas mileage? It's a DD, so I'd like to keep it as streetable as possible. Thanks!

They make a high-quality part, as well as good performance. How come we don't have headers from Magnaflow? Personally, I'd like LTs and a shorty catted X (I'd probably just modify mine). Anybody?

I realize that the new Stang is based off of the LS platform, but I didn't realize how similar they looked, especially from the side :nice:

All I can say is WOW. I installed the handle in the lower position for shortest throw, and it makes a huge difference. The shifts are clean and precise (not sloppy like the stocker) and just overall feels so much better. If you have a 5 speed and haven't installed an aftermarket shifter, do it...

I've got a Magnapack catback, and I'd like to swap the 'Packs out for some 2-chambers or Super 40s, but from what I can tell, they won't fit. Has anyone done this before, and if so, how much work is involved? I imagine that some of the pipes will have to be bent to accomodate the new muffs.

I actually can't tell if it's me, and if it is, it seems to go away after the car warms up. Is this normal? My only mods are in my sig. I just had the catted x put on after Xmas :flag:

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I don't know the difference between a short and longblock. Is the shortblock the block only, and the longblock comes with heads (and/or other goodies)? Thanks in advance.
