All I can say is WOW. I installed the handle in the lower position for shortest throw, and it makes a huge difference. The shifts are clean and precise (not sloppy like the stocker) and just overall feels so much better. If you have a 5 speed and haven't installed an aftermarket shifter, do it now! :D

pull off plastic around shifter, pull off shifter knob and boot, unbolt shifter, bolt on new shifter, set shifter stops, reassemble the rest.

total time: 30 minutes.

if i did it, anyone can.

sounds like a plan. how much you guys pay for the tri ax? or should i go pro 5.0

Go with either. They are both great products. I have the Pro 5.0 base with the Tri-ax handle. The Pro 5.0 handle is a little too short for my arms. I have to reach forward to put it in 5th gear. Anyway can't go wrong with any of the two. Just personal preference.
