I found an xr4ti and was wondering if this engine was the same as the other 2.3 turbos? I think I can pick up the entire car for 400, currently not running. They said it needed a head gasket when they parked it 2 years ago. Is this swap the same?

When i'm just putting around driving normal the car runs fine, but at wot it bogs. If i feed it throttle very slowly the rpms will climb. I just replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter, and that didn't fix it. Checked the air filter, nothing. Anyone have any insight?

This isn't a stang, it's an 88 t-bird, and i can't seem to find an exhaust for it. I can't find any t-bird forums or anything to ask questions on, so you guys are my only hope.
