Stuff happens, Ford understand that. IF it was a test mule, then they probably just fixed what was wrong, and sent it back out for more testing.
Not that all vehicles are the same as exotic, carbon fiber cars, but on some of the vehicles that are wrecked, they repair them, and then send them back out for further testing. If they can't be repaired, then they might send them off for further enginering tests (structural) or if the damage is extensive, the crusher. Just because a vehicle is wrecked doesn't mean they can't learn something from it.
